Bill and Vail have responded to a calling from the Lord to humbly serve His Kingdom in accordance with the Great Commission of Christ, Matthew 28:18-20, in the Philippines. The Holy Spirit has led us to unite with two spiritual leadership partners in the Philippines: Pastors Solomon and Elizabeth Ventura, True Vine Christian Fellowship (below left); and Ruel and Toni Barte, City of David(below right).

These pastoral teams have planted born again churches that teach the Word of the Lord and are open to thework of the Holy Spirit.

With the blessing and support of the Lord on eight mission trips, our combined ministries have conducted medical missions for approximately 17,000 poor individuals. Our ministry partners coordinate each medical mission site and recruit volunteer doctors, nurses and spiritual counselors. We raise funds to buy medicines through our religious nonprofit charity Christian Love Gifts, http://www.christianlovegifts.net/.  We have been blessed to witness approximately 8,175 souls accepting Christ at these medical missions. We have also raised funds to support the schooling of many Bible students and orphans. While in the Philippines, we visit many churches,  teach the Word and bring the love of Christ to many poor children in a variety of ways. This fall, we conducted the 2013 Philippine Medical Mission from 10/25 to 11/10 and shipped ten boxes of donated clothes, toiletries, food, and other supplies to our Philippine Sisters and Brothers. We will be traveling to the Philippines next January for our 2015 Philippine Medical Mission.

OUR CURRENT PRAYER REQUESTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

The hearts of many would be touched to:

  1. Donate funds for medicines for our 1/15 to 2/2, 2015 Medical Missions
  2. Join us as a mission team member for our 1/15 to 2/2 2015 Mission Trip
  3. Become sponsors for a Bible student or orphan, $65/month
  4. Donate funds to purchase rice to feed True Vine Bible students and orphans
  5. Donate $1000 to $2000 to build new churches

Typhoon Haiyan

On November 8, 2013, Super Typhoon Haiyan, the strongest typhoon in earth’s recorded history struck the Philippine Islands. Haiyan had sustained winds of 200 miles per hour with gusts up to 250 miles per hour and a two-story high storm surge. It came ashore on the eastern side of the island of Leyte where 5000 people died in the city of Tacloban from wind related issues and the storm surge. Structural damage on the island of Leyte was extensive and a large amount of the infrastructure was destroyed. Damage on the eastern side of the island was the greatest because of the storm surge. Massive aide immediately poured into the worst hit areas but as time went on slowed down. We received information from Pastors Ruel and Toni Barte via Toni’s relatives that people in the small town of Baybay on Leyte’s western coast were in critical need of medical supplies. After praying for guidance from the Lord, we decided to support a medical mission to Baybay. Ruel and Toni organized a team of approximately 15 people from their church that would be willing to pay their own way to Baybay to serve the Lord in a medical mission. We provided the funds to purchase the required medical supplies. The team traveled to Baybay in early February and provided two medical missions during the daytime and evangelistic crusades during the evenings. We are happy to report that the team successfully treated 700 patients and brought 300 people to Christ. Praise the Lord. The team reported that no other means of free medical support had been provided to this residents of this small town since the Typhoon. Serving the Lord on mission is an awesome experience.

Femie is a young lady who just turned 29 years old. She got a degree in chemistry and worked at Zest-O-Corporation in the Philippines. It is hard to find a job in the Philippines and she got one and was earning money. Then one summer she attended a camp for young people ( high school age through 20’s ). There The Holy Spirit got a hold of her and she rededicated her life to Christ. She quit her job and enrolled in True Vine Bible School. She won the respect of her peers and was voted Bible School President. This month of March she will graduate True Vine Bible College and will be sent on a one year internship with a church. We look forward to seeing God’s plans for Femie unroll.
