FALL 2015

Hello Everyone

Your response to our last email concerning relief for Typhoon Koppu (Lando) victims in the Philippines has been incredible. Praise the Lord.  As you recall, over 50 people lost their lives and over 65,000 people sustained extensive property damage.  Pastor Solomon reported that the river in Nambalan Mayantoc overflowed its banks and washed away the house that five of his True Vine Pastors lived. They escaped with only the clothes on their backs. The True Vine church that served the Nambalan Mayantoc barangay survived the flooding water from the river. To God be the Glory.

Your generous, spirit filled contributions have enabled Christian Love Gifts to assist Pastor Solomon with the purchase of a lot for a Pastoral house on higher ground in  Nambalan Mayantoc. In addition, we have established a line of credit for building supplies at a local building supply company. These building supplies can be used by the local members of the True Vine Nambalan Mayantoc church to build a new pastoral house for their Pastors.

In addition, we have recently collected and shipped 18, 80 pound boxes, of relief supplies to Pastor Solomon to be distributed to the poor and needy. 6 more boxes will be shipped within a week bringing the total to 82 boxes of supplies shipped in 2016 for the Filipino poor and needy.

It is an awesome experience to respond quickly to the will of the Holy Spirit to reach out to those in need. Thank you, Thank you. Your spirit filled support for the work of the Lord in the Philippines in awesome.

We have finalized plans for our January 6 to January 22, 2016 Medical Mission to 7 team members and nine medical mission sites in the Mountain Province, La Union and Camiling areas.  The first 8 medical missions sites have been selected by Pastor Solomon as good evangelistic sites to reach the unreached poor and needy in Northern Luzon. The 9th medical site in La Union has been selected by Pastor Fidel Passion of Calvary Chapel Tipo.  For this medical mission, our mission team, Pastor Solomon and True Vine Bible Students, will be working with Pastor Fidel , 3 other Calvary Chapel Pastors from the Tipo area and Pastor Charles Couch Jr. from Calvary Chapel West Oahu. Our goal for the first 8 medical missions is to extend the Love of the Lord via medical treatments for the poor and needy and to be instrumental in the growth and planting of new True Vine Churches. Our goal in the 9th medical mission is to extend the Love of the Lord via medical treatments for the poor and needy in the La Union Province and to be instrumental in the planting of the first Calvary Chapel church in the La Union province.

We will be supported in all of these mission sites by Filipino doctors, dentists and nurses that have volunteered their time and talents to serve the Lord. Our mission team members pay for their own expenses to serve the Lord. The medicines used to treat the poor and needy in these medical missions are purchased in the Philippines from funds that you have donated.

As of this time, we still have a short fall in the funds required to purchase the necessary medicines for this year’s 2016 medical mission. Please pray and ask for the Lord’s guidance concerning this medicine financial need. If you believe that the Lord is calling you to provide financial support for the purchase of medical mission medicines, you can make a tax deductible donation to Christian Love Gifts in one of two ways. You can either mail a check made out to Christian Love Gifts to 5106 Via Cupertino, Camarillo, Ca. 93012. You could also make an online donation with a credit card on our, Christian Love Gifts  web site,     http://www.christianlovegifts.net. Once on our web site, go to the donation tab and make your online donation. Since Christian Love Gifts is a 501 (c3) Christian nonprofit, all donations are tax deductible.

It is an awesome experience to serve the Lord on mission. As Jesus said in Matthew 9:35-38,

“35 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.[a] 36 But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary[b] and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. 37 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. 38 Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Please pray that the Lord of the harvest will use our 2016 Philippine Medical Mission Team as laborers of His harvest.

God Bless
